#29 – Gay Rights
Speaking of the love of watching two boys kiss, people are STILL trying to outlaw gay marriage in one of the few places it’s allowed. Bah. -_-
Does anyone else just stare at JunJou Romantico because of the sheer fluffiness and the adorable boys? Not that it’s a show you can watch online, you have to buy the DVDs. I tried to find it on YouTube and only got the theme song so it was a long time before I saw more than the first episode…
And am always struck by how wonderfully adorable the characters are, so I try to do somewhat the same style when I draw. It’s so hard to find good yaoi series where it’s canon instead of doujinshi. Suppose I’ll go work on some of what Kagami and I have written – Tarot readings are still open as well – Comment if you want to buy one.
#28 – Still In Progress
Books are not up yet because, well, Conspiracy is having issues. New fanfiction, which is always great, but I wish I could post art. Though I’m glad at least Seti is posting some stuff – I have stuff for sale I can post, to help finance things, and I need to call Rumiko.
I’m learning Poser using a book – I got the program and it was much more complicated than I expected. Manga Studio was pretty easy to learn without help since I know a lot of programs but I did still use a book for more advanced projects.
And Gryphon is totally calling Conspiracy a Narutard because that’s what broke her computer and made it not run anything due to memory failure. She was watching Naruto and drawing Naruto, and then the computer froze up and died. Teach her to draw emo!Kakashi, him being emo and all that. So it was the emo version that broke it. (Shippuden = the emo version of Naruto to Conspiracy versus normal Naruto)
Still, Emo!Kakashi is sexy. He is. That’s why it’s good to draw him. Unless your computer hates Naruto and is a touchscreen with a pissy operating system. >_>
#19 – Team Meeting Last Night
Conspiracy and Seti and Rumiko finally all met up last night, and it was very fun~
Seems to be great chemistry between the team, no awkward pauses in coversation, and Rumiko’s art is AMAZING. So I can’t wait to see her doing doujinshis, and hopefully she will be offering commissions or prints on the site soon – I feel awful for all of you who have not gotten to see or buy art from her, because she’s better than a lot of pros I’ve bought mangas from. I was totally blown away.
Unfortunately, we still have no bio on Rumiko yet, or much to show, as she does not have internet until she moves, which is why Conspiracy had to drive down there, but it was very fun. Got to trade off some stuff, and Seti gave me a spectacular art table with the thing on the side that holds supplies, and a chair that goes with it, so OMG Conspiracy might be productive and produce one of a kind artworks to raise money for printing books now!
The plumbers are here, but I will be working on my studio later when they leave, and I sell my original ones as well as prints, but have not had a studio because of broken plumbing, so keep a look out for new artworks once I have my space cleared. So happy today. ^_^

#10 – True Story – FreeCycle Moderator
Okay, so I just became a Moderator for a local (c)FreeCycle Group lately, and was conversing with the head Mod. I’m not saying which group, or who, but her son is into anime, and she mentioned that his girlfriend went to art school and does such great work drawing other’s characters but has not shown her own. So… I promise on my life these things are TRUE REASONS WHY A PARTICULAR MANGAKA HAS NOT SHOWN YOU HER ORIGINAL ART AND JUST HER FANART:
#8 – Gay Rights
Honestly, how do people still get away with this horrid type of gay bashing? Allow them to exist? Maybe people like you shouldn’t be allowed to exist! And it promotes marrying younger and polygamy? I would LOVE to see what type of logic led you to that, since most gay couples I know that are in committed relationships despite being denied rights that, as Americans, they are supposed to have… are older than I am, usually 40+. The people I know who are dating a significant other half their age are, OH MY GOD, straight. So yeah… I’d realllllllly love to see some stats on that or at least the logic chart of idiocy. I hope this story gets more coverage and tanks your career.
And your statement is WRONG, by the way. You say you’re allowing them to exist but not giving them any special designation? Hate to tell you… No, wait, I don’t hate to tell you, but you are giving them a special designation by the very fact they have less rights. That puts them in a different designation than straight Americans with full rights… an entire different category. Sounds to me like you needs to do ya some book learnings, mister.
