Name: Partial Password Protection – Free WordPress Plugin For Download
Description: Allows you to password-protect part of a post, while leaving the other parts visible. Great for when you want to put an excerpt of what the protected material contains. It uses an easy beginning and end tag, and the password is entered to the side – this is one file, which is fixed from a former plugin called Partial Protect With Passwords.
Please try it out, rate, and comment, as I would like to start creating plugins for WordPress and am currently just a mobile developer and web designer. If you really needed this and use it a lot, then please consider donating as well so I can move it off of MegaUpload and onto this server – It should be listed on the WordPress directory itself soon, though, since I’m submitting it! Note: This does not work for protecting lots of different entries with different content – I am working on a version that does that, but I’m not sure why it wasn’t included in WordPress, since there are passwords, and there are excerpts, that you could replace the pass-protected post with the excerpt, so I’m going to end up having to charge (something ridiculously cheap like $1) for that plugin due to it taking away work time for me. At least it’ll put functionality in that is very necessary… I’m pretty annoyed that there isn’t a built in option to replace the protected post with the excerpt you type out underneath, then put in the password to get the full thing… but oh well… despite it being the first serious problem both Seti and I have had, apparently it hasn’t been a problem for many others, or at least not enough of one to have it fixed.

Something else I found on my old harddrive for you to download – please no hotlinking or I won’t share free graphics. There are LOTS of places to go use them for free, and I’d hate to add code where you can’t even download one picture from here and have to go to megaupload for one instead of a group of graphics. So be nice, okay? I’m nice… I give free things, and lots of free hugs at conventions, so it’s not that hard.
Since I am putting samples of each group and the download links in later posts, this is the master list and as I add posts, I will add the links to this as well. I’m sorry I’m so behind on content, but I have just built a file server, which will let me access what I need more quickly, and so hopefully that will help. In general master lists will have links in them when completed if they are the kind with stuff you’re allowed to download. I have another master list up which will be the same, though there will be individual posts of what has been added, samples, explanation, and a link for download there. It’s just easier for me (and probably for most of you readers) if there is a spot where the master list is rather than looking through all the tags…
